Typical starting wage / salary: $17.50 - $18.00 hour Exempt X Non-exempt Contract

Professional Certifications Required: None.
Minimum Previous Experience Required: 1 year preferred and/or continuing education. Onsite training will be provided.
Position Summary: Provides support to Engineering department.
Job Description:
- Assist in setting up and processing quotes.
- Work closely with Engineers to create and/or update Bills of Material, Routings, and Manufacturing Work Instructions.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to routine correspondence and requests for quotes.
- Organize, set up and maintain files.
- Read drawings, parts lists and customer emails to determine bills of materials.
- Data entry to include spreadsheets.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to type accurately and efficiently.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be thorough and able to work independently.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, including standing or sitting.
- Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds as needed.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance: U.S. citizens or lawfully authorized to work in the United States.
Work Schedule: Full time - Four (4) ten-hour days, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Typically Monday - Thursday)
Travel: No travel is expected for this position.
