Job/Position Summary: Support manufacturing production by preparing parts to be issued to the floor. Keep accurate records and keep the stockroom organized. Respond to employee requests for parts. Support the shipping department by preparing items for shipment. Must follow internal and customer requirements for packing, labeling, and shipping all product.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify, record, track, sort, stage, stock, and distribute inventory, supplies, and equipment into and out of the stockroom.
- Accurately unpack, verify, inspect, record, and move to the stockroom all incoming inventory, supplies, equipment, and merchandise.
- Process all materials transactions in the inventory database.
- Cut and measure wire, prepare labels.
- Maintain adequate shipping supplies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification is a plus.
- Support annual physical inventory and regular cycle counting of all inventory.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
- Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, including standing or sitting.
Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds as needed.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance: U.S. Citizens or lawfully authorized applicants to work in the United States.
Work Schedule: Full-Time - Four (4) ten-hour days, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday–Thursday)
Travel: No travel for this position.
